I've been to a couple of the other Pita Jungle locations (Gilbert and Chandler), as well as this one, but they've all been consistently good. One thing I like about Pita Jungle is that they post their nutrition information on their website, so you can get an idea of how dining here will affect your diet. That said, a lot of what Pita Jungle serves is fairly healthy fare. For lunch, I've stuck with some of the pita wraps (the chicken shawarma is particularly good) and the black bean burger. The only time they fell down on a food item was the grilled salmon salad. I just didn't care for it. Parking at the downtown location can be tricky if it's busy. There's a parking garage behind Pita Jungle that can fill up. There's limited on-street parking on Roosevelt and on 3rd Ave. Failing that you can probably park in the neighborhoods to the south. There is patio seating located away from the street, so you don't have to have a side of carbon monoxide with your hummus. As I recall, there's not a lot of shade out there, so summertime al fresco dining might be impossible. That's OK, it's nice inside.
