“Simply the BEST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

It was my first time visiting the phoenix area on business. I received a genuine welcome and was very pleased with my room! The room was very comfortable and extemely clean! I had a very early check out the next morning and Im not used to a staff member being readily available during my check out. However, Garrick was available when I came down that morning and was very friendly and courteous. Garrick was also very knowlegeable about the surrounding area. I was very pleased with the overall service at the hotel and look forward to visiting on my next business trip.

Hot bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup and a "healthy" vodka and soda for UNDER $7? TRUE !! Couple that with a 1st class pool/spa, and fitness center (open 24 hours!!!), how can you go wrong? Great rate, and if you like the kitchy Waffle House offerings (NO ice cream though), they are also open 24 hours, and are 50 feet from the front entrance to this Hilton property.
With all that said...the two BEST things about this property?
1. Breana at the front desk: Professional, attractive and extremely knowledgeable of all the other sites, activities and restaurants available near to this property.
2. The TV channel line-up: I LIVE in hotels, and it is only once in every 25 that I stay where I can get the "E Channel". NO, not for the Kardashians or Fashion Police....but for Chelsea Lately!!

Simply put, they could double the rate, and with the services, offerings, personnel and location...it would STILL be worth it!! (But they won't do that, because they want repeat business...!)

I WILL be back for sure!!

Room Tip: Seems all rooms are very favorable...mine sure was. Try for close to the pool entrance if you will...

I'm always greeted by the friendly front desk staff, Breana & Rhee. They make my visit very much like visiting with friends. The breakfast prepared by Rauol is the best meal I have each day while staying here. I enjoy the environment and will continue to stay with the crew at Hilton Garden Inn.

Room Tip: Rooms on the backside don't receive direct sunlight for most of the day and appear to stay coole...

We came here for a conference and was very happy with the room. Very roomy and comfy. The food in the am was pretty good.
The conference room was good, although the seat we chose was right beside the temperature control and my husband had to adjust every ten minutes because the room either got very cold or very hot.
The location was ok of flying in but not if you wanted to do a quick run out for dinner. Nothing right there at hotel.
Staff seemed flustered with the amount of people at conference for lunch and everything was disorganized and they seemed irritated. And we were giving them business? Hummmm.....

Dear HBsurferwife,

Thank you for your stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport. We appreciate you taking the time to post a review.

I am delighted to see that you enjoyed our rooms so much. We take much pride in their comfort and cleanliness. Also thank you for your constructive comments concerning our meeting rooms. I will have our maintenance staff take a look at the thermostat.

It is true that there are not many dining options choose by if you are walking but we do offer complimentary shuttle service to a variety of dining and shopping facalities in the area. The drive time to these facalities is approximately 10 minutes.

It saddens me to learn about your experience in our restaurant during your meeting's lunchtime break. Please understand it is always hit and miss when guessing how many people, from a meeting like yours, are going to join us for lunch. Apparently we guessed wrong.

If there is anything I can do to assist you during your next stay with is please to not hesitate to contact me at anytime. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

Randy Forrest

Very friendly staff, both at reception and bar/restaurant. Public areas OK but not spacious. Room very good size with kitchen area (no plates/cutlery/cooking utensils). Separate sofa/bed in lounge area was reasonably comfortable, and main bed was good. Everywhere clean but not very modern. Pool good. Only problem is the noisy and fierce airconditioning. It doesn't have any temperature control so the room gets too cold if it's on and heats up rapidly when it's off.

The location is excellent for the airport, in a quiet area. There is a very reliable free shuttle to the airport. There is nothing mouch to do in the area so not recommended for a long stay but an excellent choice if arriving or departing from Phoenix airport.

Be careful, there are two Garden Inns at the airport so make sure you know which one you've booked!

We (2 adults and 2 children) stopped over in the hotel for a night on our way to Grand Canyon. The hotel is located in a quiet area and is clean and comfortable. Though the air conditioning unit in the room was noisy, The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We would stay here again.
