“worth a stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

I am a regular at the Indianapolis Tilted kilt and we thought we would stop at the kilt while in phoenix to watch the suns play the Pacers. It is loacted on the second floor of the building right across from U.S.Airways center. Service was good and as expected it got very busy closer to game time. The bar was alot smaller than i expected so we ate at table. food was kilt food that is "pub fair". But its always good. overall i enjoyed the place. always fun before a big game. short walk to the game. if you havnt given the kilt a chance you should. enjoy

“Good Sports Bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

We weren't super hungry so I ordered the chicken strips which were house made without the typical heavy batter. The savory mussels were plentiful, tender and tasty. We would go there again to watch a sporting event, but not as a regular stop.

“Dinner before Suns game”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Titled Kilt Jan 2 2014
It was a Suns game night so we knew to arrive in plenty of time before the big rush. Arrived at 4:30ish and the place was empty. You could still get a table if you arrived an hour and fifteen minutes before the game. Service was quick. Although the ran out of Stella, not sure how a pub runs out of beer during the holidays. We ordered Tilted Kilt Signature Wings, they were 11.00 and you only got 9 wings, and 3 were pathetically small. The TK Signature wing sauce is great, but not for the price. Wish you could buy the sauce.
We also ordered the Onion stack, 6.00 and came with its own spicy sauce which was good. Surprised they had no happy hour during the week night, beers were 6.00 each. We use to get the 3 slider basket, but they no longer have it on the menu. Over all, the service was good, food was hot, but found they have raised their prices and taken some items off them menu. Its ok for something to eat before a game but there is so much choice downtown now.

“A Bit Off”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

We went here after a baseball game at Chase Field.

With all of the crowds here we thought Tilted Kilt would likely be a more than decent place. We found the opposite to be true.

There was quite a wait to be seated and once seated there was another wait for a server to show up. We both ordered Guinness Stout since that was familiar to us we thought how can you go wrong with that? Well a bit maybe the mix or whatever was a bit off that day but whatever the Stout wasn’t quite right. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla that had little flavor and not much chicken either. I had the “Ultimate Club Wrap” that was just okay.

Our thought is that there are better places. I think the appeal here is the abundance of “skin” on the female servers because the food and drink, at least on this day, were lacking.

As I always say the real proof is the answer to this question, “Would you return?”

For Tilted Kilt our answer is, “No we will not.”

“Better places to spend your money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

An Irish version of hooters. Much better places in phoenix to spend your money on good food and tasty drinks. It was kind of dirty and disorganized, lots of old guys intently watching...sports. Waitress nice, but disappeared during our stay. We enjoyed it in Vegas because it was a novel concept and we are suckers for Irish pubs. (Note to self - only visit major concept restaurants once - especially the ones where the hook is the female form - repeat visits are never worth the time and money....no matter how much your hubby wants to go.)
