“Close to home.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

This is a great park to hike if you don't want to drive miles to get out of the city for just a few hours. It is also very close to the botanical gardens and the zoo, both of which are well worth a visit.

“Hole in the Rock”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

The park is actually quite large. We had to ask a local for the location of the Hole in the Rock. What a different place! Even tho it was pretty hot (they were having record highs when we were there!), we still enjoyed the picnic area and the hike to the hole. Well maintained and clean.

“Great place to walk or run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Nice park in the middle of Phoenix! Paved and dirt trails are scattered among the buttes that dot the area. Visit hole in the rock for a nice view of downtown and the surrounding lakes!

“I climbed to the Hole-in-the=rock”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I loved being able to see the city from so high and the climb was fun and relatively easy climb for a novice.
