Thi is a very nice hotel in the heart of Phoenix. Within walking distance to Chase field, (AZ Diamondbacks) US Airways center (Phoenix Suns), convention center. Next to ASU downtown campus. Wonderful pool and courtyard area on the fourth floor.

Dear Jean,

We love our location in the heart of the downtown area and we’re happy to know that you loved the convenience as well. It is easy to get to just about anything from the hotel, isn’t it?

How lovely that you discovered and enjoyed our 4th floor pool and patio area. That is actually where you will also find our very own rooftop garden, which our culinary team cares after, so that it yields fresh herbs and produce that are then featured on the restaurant’s menu.

We appreciate the time you took to write about your experience here and please know that your feedback and your business are genuinely appreciated. Until next time…

Warm Regards,

Rooms Management

This is a beautiful hotel just adjacent to the Phoenix Convention Center. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Very good restaurant in the hotel. Very quiet. I was there for a conference and location was perfect--close to good restaurants.

Room Tip: rooms at either end of the hall are very quiet.

Dear Paula,

We’re pleased that you enjoyed both the hotel amenities, as well as the menu offerings in the restaurant. Our culinary team is committed to sourcing and serving local and environmentally preferred suppliers and products, and we feel that definitely translates into fresher and more nutrient filled ingredients.

We’re glad you rested well while here as well.

We’ll be ready to welcome you back the next time business or pleasure brings you to the Valley of the Sun.

Warm Regards,

Dear David,

While this is not the first time we have heard praise for Amelia’s housekeeping skills and her caring nature, it remains music to our ears. Amelia takes a great deal of pride in her work and it shows! How kind of you to recognize her efforts. She will be happy to know that her service made a positive impact during your stay with us.

We are also happy to know that you found the rest of our staff helpful and caring as well during your time with us.

Thank you very much for your business and for choosing us for your stay while in Phoenix. We genuinely appreciate it and look forward to your return.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a convention.

Pros - rooms clean, lobby clean, rooms updated, I had free internet provided by the convention. received a King Bed room, as requested.

Cons - Location not really great (although was a short walk -close to the convention center) in terms of seeing any of the nicer parts of Phoenix - Biltmore, Scottsdale, etc, the elevators are slow. Not really any great dining options close by (the Corner Bakery across the street was OK). very business/corporate like environment. Service so-so.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to leave a review about your experience. Of course, we would have loved to be have been rated five stars on every aspect of your stay, as we certainly do not strive to be just average.

Might we suggest the next time that you briefly check-in with our Concierge desk to hear about the many options for dining and entertainment in the downtown area? Just about positive they can point you to things of interest to you…

We genuinely appreciate the feedback you provided to us, to use in our never-ending quest for continuous improvement. Thank you for your feedback and your business, both mean a lot to us.

Warm Regards,

Great location for business or a sporting event. The room was large and the bed very comfortable . The facilities were first class including the pool, lounging area and bar. The adjacent Arizona Center was a delightful place to visit because of its stores, restaurants, bars and pleasant places to sit and relax. At night the downtown area is pretty well deserted.

Dear Louise,

We love our location and we’re glad that you did as well! We also loved hearing that you enjoyed the hotel amenities. The pool and pool bar, Breeze, on the 4th floor are meant to be enjoyed to the fullest; we can only hope that you also caught a nice sunset while there…

Our chefs have an herb garden on the 4th floor as well. Many of the vegetables and herbs from the garden are incorporated into the hotel restaurant dishes.

We hope you will have another chance to return and enjoy even more that the Sheraton Phoenix and the downtown area have to offer. Until then…

Warm Regards,

Business meeting this a business hotel. Great check in and they reservation attendant reminded me to merge the Spg and delta account. Clean room , a little stark no color ( add a pillow of color ?) happy hour was only at the back bar, I sat at the from cause I did not know til check out lol... But the ladies knew their drinks and offered local chat w knowledge. Very good wifi set up in lobby w small desks . Downtown pretty much rolls up at night , but close to the convention center and a great bed! Also, if you skip room service a day they give you a $5 credit towards food or drink. Nice to be green and save a buck . Enjoy

Dear Cheryl,

We’re happy to know that you had such an exceptional arrival experience, and that you enjoyed the connections you made with staff members.

It’s also great that you enjoyed the Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft, which is our connectivity hub and a great place to work, relax, socialize or grab a snack.

Thank you for participating in the “Make A Green Choice” program, our popular sustainability program. We appreciate that and it does make a difference and certainly helps us in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint.

We hope you’ll be back soon and we’ll be ready to warmly welcome you. Your business is genuinely appreciated.

SPG Gold....

I find that Sheratons are the great unknown in the Starwood empire. Some are shabby and worn out properties that seem to trade on their flag, while others earn their spot as the Starwood original franchise. The Phoenix Downtown was in the latter category happily.

Was upgraded to a king deluxe room with a nice view of Phoenix (if that exists) on the 27th floor. The room was large and had the usual amenities. I wish there were outlets easily accessible from the nightstand for my cellphone though.

The gym was the standard new Sheraton gym which I enjoyed. Towels and water were plentiful. There is valet parking or you can self park for about $12, which I did. The garage is below the hotel so its easy to get to your room. The only issue I had with the stay was room service. I ordered off the late night (10PM-6AM) menu and got the chicken caesar salad. It was alright. The salad came with tomatoes and olives, which was odd, and it used long parmesan crisps. If the chef is reading, while they look cool, croutons would have been easier.

I would return here if business brought be back to Phoenix.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor.

Our hotel, just 5 years old, and its central downtown location is a great combination….
We’re happy to know that you agree and that you enjoyed your stay with us.

So nice to hear that you utilized the Sheraton Fitness center, programmed by Core Performance, as we love to hear that our guests retained some control in their life by keeping to their regular exercise regimen while on the road.

We’ll definitely let the culinary team know of your comments about the chicken Caesar salad delivered via room service, as they love hearing feedback such as yours. It makes a difference and we thank you for it.

We hope you will return soon for another visit to the Valley of the Sun, and when you do, we stand ready to warmly welcome you back to the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown.

Warm Regards,
