“NOT worth the price although the Water park is great for kids.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

I have stayed in many resorts US and internationally by far this was the least family friendly suite I have ever stayed in. The buildings at this resort are poorly identified and the map they give you is almost useless. I walked around the fitness center building twice and never found the front entrance.
The "suite" does have a separate living room with a close off door/sofa bed however the sinks and bathroom can only be accessed through the main bedroom. If anyone gets up early everyone gets to hear them shuffling around in the bedroom.

The kids and all their friends thoroughly enjoyed the Water park- I would return to it but stay in another hotel locally.

The fitness center when I finally got in was AWESOME- good variety of exercise equipment- classes and the Spa was very clean & nice.

Great resort.have stayed here for many conventions and always very accommodating.I just don't understand there food policy. The only option after 10 is room service but you can get it delivered to lobby but not in bar or resturant .The resort was totally sold out bar and lobby packed at least 6 people looking to eat with no options.if kitchen open serve in bar.

We were in Arizona for a quick weekend of sightseeing but mainly to watch some spring training baseball. We stayed at the Arizona Grand for the weekend and had a great stay. We checked in very late and there was friendly staff there to help us out and get us checked in. We had an issue with a backed up shower and maintenance took care of it quickly while we were out.

The last day of our stay we were able to enjoy the pool which is more like a small water park with wave pool, water slides, and a full bar. Matt made sure that we were well taken care of as far as food and drinks!

I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. My only regret is that we did not have time to play some golf at the course on the resort.

Room Tip: The villas are the best rooms at the resort

I spent a week at the Arizona Grand Resort and I can say it is a wonderful all around Hotel. Wonderful for the family, sports enthusiast or Spa devotee. The sprawling grounds grounds include a great water park, multiple other pools, a large gym, golf course and lovely fire pits. Walking trails in the hills just beyond the Resort are also close and convenient. Bring the family, go as a couple or for business. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great time had by the family. Easy place to have a family of 4 stay and enjoy the water park. Downside is that the Beer/Wine/Liquor prices are CRAZY high and parking close to your room is almost impossible. If you have an option stay close to the Water Park, it makes it much easier - and be prepared to walk a long ways from your car to your room. Probably have 1/4 of the spaces needed.

We stayed on the 5th floor in the Sedona building in a two queen suite. The room was spacious and clean, with two TVs and a separate living room. The beds were very comfortable! We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck which was near the room. The views were amazing and the weather was wonderful every day of our stay. The water park was great with many activities and the water heated to a comfortable temperature. Whether you want to have fun or relax, you can do either here.

Pros:
Staff - friendly & attentive
Oasis Water Park - fun!..and relaxing
Rooftop decks - quiet & relaxing
Pools & hot tubs - several to choose from, beautiful & well maintained
Starbucks coffee - available at the lobby Marketplace
Grounds & scenery - beautiful!
WiFi access - connection was intermittent from the room but stronger outside (on the balcony, at the water park, lobby, and walking the grounds)
Free parking
Coin laundry - facilities available in each building

Cons:
Food & drink prices - consider eating offsite if you are looking for an affordable meal

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors -- excellent views and convenient access to the rooftop decks from the 5th flo...

We booked a last minute trip to warm –up from the bitter cold. The resort was great…we loved sitting by the fire pits relaxing in the fresh air. The staff were all great to mention a couple from our home town Kerry C. and Brandon Mc ... great assets to the front desk. Not to mention Michael S., Konrad T. and the other Michael from the Bell staff that were always there to assist when needed! Love those golf carts. And Darrell for our great accommodations…the room was perfect and the bed was great. I can go on and on…looking forward to going back!
