“Great stop-over stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Was a clean little room. Seemed like a safe area. Included a refrigerator and microwave. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast included make-it-yourself waffles, fruit, muffins, coffee and juice.Would stay here again if I had the chance.

What a pleasant surprise. When we pulled in I thought, "Well, it was only fifty bucks, what did I expect," but when I checked in that all changed. Very clean, friendly staff, a very well managed hotel. The continental breakfast needs some wwork though(yikes). Overall? Pleased:)

The staff was friendly, and the vintage 60s vibe was charming. We were disappointed with the lack of amenities and comfort, the loud airconditioner and thin walls. It is located in the middle of a deserted industrial zone with several train tracks running through it.

While we got a good deal on the price ($69 for one night), the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The comforters were stained, the towels were tiny and rough, the furniture was old and worn and the air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine when the fan went on. The fan grate in the bathroom was caked with dust and dirt, although the rest of the bathroom was clean. The walls were paper-thin and we could hear televisions from other rooms. The pool was not heated and there were no towels available poolside, you had to get them from the front desk. They were smaller than the bath towels.

The "deluxe" breakfast consisted of a variety of pre-packaged pastries, three dispensers of cereal, hard boiled eggs and a small waffle-maker. There was coffee in a small dispenser in the coffee, with powdered milk and sugar packets.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and accommodated our requests.

Overall, if you're in witness protection, it's a great place to stay. For a family, not so much.
