Sunglow ranch is truly an amazing place. My husband and I were looking for a place that was relaxing, but had outdoor options as well. Sunglow was just the place!!!! The drive was long and bumpy, but the wait worthwhile. Pam the manager greeted us, and gave us the tour. Chrissy the owner was there to also greet us, along with Lacey (four legged family.) we got to know the staff of 6 who were all Wonderful!!!! Everyone does everything here, and works extremely hard to make the stay memorable. We would see the waiters from the previous dinner cleaning the pool :) that brings me to the food. The food. WOW..... Spectacular meals that were included.....unbelievable.... The value is incredible when you consider the dinner and fresh breakfast are included in the cost... Spectacular place along with warm and welcoming owners and staff!!! Cannot wait to go back, and we just got home yesterday. There is an amazing winery Lawrence Dunham totally worth the trip, they had amazing wines that were paired with the food at sunglow. We will be back with lots of friends to share this hidden hideaway... We also had an amazing stargazing night with Mitch the owner and that was incredible also!!!,

Room Tip: Book early!!!!

This was our fourth stay. The new pool/Jacuzzi and fitness room are very well done. The hiking from our front door was easy and spectacular. Without leaving the property you can walk through scrub oak savannas, and Juniper/oak/pinon pine woodlands. You will encounter scat, tracks, and other signs of bobcat, coyote, mountain lion, striped skunk, and deer. You will hear and see birds that are off the charts!

Room Tip: Al the rooms are great.

Three things are remarkable about this place: first, it's in a beautiful location in Southeastern Arizona; second, the great service provided by the staff; and third, the quality of the service and the food in the restaurant. I can't emphasize enough how truly helpful and friendly the staff is, probably the best of any place we have ever stayed at. There are wonderful views in all directions, and since it is located on a ranch of more than 400 acres, there is ample opportunity to hike, observe wildlife, or simply relax. I brought a telescope along and had a great time observing under clear, dark skies. We had a wonderful time and plan to go there again.

The Sunglow Ranch is a wonderful place to escape for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend. The surroundings are gorgeous and the ranch facilities seemed recently renovated, including a new pool, hot tub and work-out room. Our casita was beautifully decorated and included a separate living area. The manager, Pam, was extremely helpful in organizing excursions such as horse back riding. I highly recommend a ride with Cowboy Buck who took us on a great ride in the mountains and entertained us with a million stories. Meals were fantastic with a fixed menu as well as daily specials. They could even accommodate baby food requests for our infant daughter. One small caveat, the rooms do not have televisions, but wifi is available everywhere.  However, we heard that if you really need to watch TV, Pam will find a way to accommodate your request.

Our one night stay was not long enough to really get to enjoy all that was available to us. The ranch has mountain bikes, a canoe, and plenty of sitting areas to read a book quietly. These are the activities that I would have liked to do if we had more time.
The staff was very accommodating in regards to special requests. Ranch is definitely in the middle of no where but if that is what you are looking for, it is the perfect spot. Both dinner and breakfast was absolutely amazing! The food is delicious and the service was great!
Fabulous star gazing opportunity!

The Sunglow Ranch was an entirely satisfying venue to spend time with my wife. The pace is calm, but there are sufficient amenities to spoil the most seasoned traveler. The location is perfect for an active vacationer and the staff is skilled and solicitous. The food is excellent and the menu varied. We will be back soon and often.
