“Great place to sit back and relax .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

For many years Christopher Creek Lodge has been a place to visit even though we now live in the pines somewhere else. The new Manager Brandon and his wife Angela were very friendly and helpful in answering any questions we might have. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future with family members, which includes some of our great-grandchildren.
Art & Lois D.

Room Tip: Cabin 10 is the last cabin on the road so its quiet.

Stayed an overnight with a friend on a fishing/canoeing trip to AZ high country. Warm friendly greeting on arrival, very clean room, tucked in the Ponderosa pines. Check in, check out couldn't have been easier. 20 minutes to Woods Canyon lake. Big fluggy towels.
I would return absolutely, and take my "peeky" wife with me. Nick Head, Scottsdale, Arizona

Room Tip: We were in 5-A.

We got married at Christopher Creek and enjoyed our stay at the lodge. We had the Pioneer Cabin #4 and it was perfect! Loved the creek & view at the backdoor and the great photo-op's there for pre-wedding shots. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to go up and stay longer next time! What a beautiful place!

The cabins and rooms are very well shaded. The location is convenient, yet far enough away from the main road so as not to hear road noise. The cabin was clean and cozy; be sure to remember to bring your own coffee. The place was fairly quiet for how many people were on property, it was certainly quiet in the evenings after 10:00 - 10:30 PM. I'd certainly recommend it, and return myself as well.

There was a real mess when we got to CCL to check in. When I made and paid for the reservation I was actually at the site. I chose Tandem #7 and when I got there on 7/2 at 9pm it had been rented to someone else - I was furious to say the least.

The Manager & his son handled us with Kid gloves, very apologetic about the issue and offered to move us to an end Tandem the next day. We accepted that alternative and our stuff was moved from one to the other exactly the way we had left it in the original Tandem.

Bottom line the way they handled themselves on site turned this from a disaster to a very pleasant stay and I can't wait to go back - hopefully in the winter.

Stayed a couple nights and it was very relaxing. Right on the creek and wildlife is at your doorstep. The Rooms were very nice and clean. Playground was well used by our 4 year old.

I would stay there again on our next trip to Woods Canyon Lake.

Room Tip: The three bed cabins are very nice.

We normally camp in the Christopher Creek area, but decided to stay in a cabin instead this year-what a PERFECT decision! Christopher Creek Lodge is a great getaway in the tall pines. Fishing, Hiking, Food, and Nature, Nature, Nature just outside your door! We are planning another trip in the Fall. Can't wait to see all the leaves change. PS- the local store is within walking distance, so if you need ANYTHING and you can't get it from the front desk, you can get it easily.
Enjoy your visit!
