“Best overall experience we've ever had at any hotel, EVER!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014 via mobile

I just want to say thank you to the whole staff as a whole. From the housekeepers to the front desk. I have never felt so at home at a hotel ever. And this place was magnificent. A huge plus and thank you to the GM Brenda. She got us whatever it was that we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our needs came first. What a pleasant place. I can't wait to come back!

I took my wife to Payson, along with our two dogs, to Majestic Mountain Inn for her birthday this year. We have stayed here several times before, and as usual, we had a great experience. The rooms are well insulated for sound. The gas fireplace kept our room warm and toasty. We also loved taking a soak in the two-person hot tub... so relaxing. It's also great that they have the green-belt just outside the back door for our dogs to play. Unfortunately, pine needles got tracked back into the room,...apologies to the housekeeping staff who had to vacuum after us.
My wife loved it (me too) and said it was one of the best birthdays she's ever had.
Thanks also to the office staff (Carly) who were very efficient and helpful. We will be back!
One more thing.. The price for our room was very reasonable for all that we got.

Room Tip: Rooms to the north end are further from highway noise and closer to the clubhouse/pool area for your...

I got engaged to my fiancee on New Years Eve. The owner and the staff went out of their way to make our stay a spectacular evening! They had a dozen roses, a box of chocolates, and chilled champagne waiting for her in the room! They spread rose petals throughout the bed and the room! They had candles and bubble bath salts by the tub. Not to mention the amazing chocolate dipped strawberries, cheese and crackers! All done in advance for a very nominal fee! This is the BEST romantic escape you can ever receive in Payson!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to Payson for a family trip to see some snow. The hotel had a cozy feel to it. We had the standard room which was clean but had an odd yellow color. The beds were not very comfy and we needed more pillows but it was clean overall and had a good TV with a DVD player which was helpful with the kids. The staff was very helpful and polite. The continental breakfast was in one word "sad". I would not even waste your time or your stomach on it. Because of the location and the staff being so polite, we would go back but will get the upgraded room next time. They looked much nicer and didn't have that "hotel" feel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Mountain! We had the deluxe room that contained a fire place. Our room truly had a cabin feel. We will most certainly be coming back. You get so much for you money. Service was great too!

Room Tip: Get the rooms in the back, we stayed in room 139. The rooms were big with high ceilings, for just a...

We stayed here one night on our way to Tonto Natural Bridge and I'd love to come back again in warmer weather. The rooms were clean and comfortable - we stayed in a 'cheap' room without a fireplace, I'd love to try a fireplace room next time. The room had a back patio complete with patio chairs that opened onto a lawn with a nice grill - again, promises of leisurely times in better weather. The staff was very friendly, and one of the housekeepers was even kind enough to jump our car when it died overnight! Definitely would stay here again.
