This is the kind of small-town eatery we search for: friendly, popular with locals & tourists, funky, low-key atmosphere. We've eaten here many times & will return. But... we always find ourselves wishing the food had more creative pizzazz. It's good enough, it's fast & fresh, but the place (& the prices) cry out for "special." For example, our last lunch: the tuna salad was bland; the potato salad, which looked great, was also blah; the meat/cheese sandwich was tasty but more bread than stuffings; my scone was dry & they may have waved an almond over it... tho the chocolate brownie was awesome. So... worth your time & one of the few decent places in the area, but it could be so much more tasty & interesting.
