“You CAN put lipstick on a pig!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Very innovative restaurant with a diverse menu. Excellent atmosphere, food and serivce. We have been there 3 times and have had something different every time. For apps the brussel sprouts and fried chicken are great. We have had the pork shoulder, boneless chicken thighs and the charcuterie and all are great. Our only disappointment was the lamb burger. We ordered it med rare and it came out well done. Very dry and no tsizki sauce. If you want a great lamb burger, go to CPH, always cooked to order.
H/H is everyday 4:30-6:30 (even on Father's Day) and a good $5 house wine.
Very satisfied and we will definitely be back.

“Have the beignets... trust me.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Though I give this establishment four stars, I give the bananas foster beignets five plus stars. OMG those are good. I'd say skip dinner and go straight to those babies, but honestly, dinner was good too. Either way, save some room and get the beignets... you won't be disappointed. Trust me.

As for food, I had a french dip sandwich... it was fab. I wish it was served a little bit warmer, but overall I would highly recommend it. The hubs had a pork roast. It was Ok, but had A LOT of fat on it. I think he would have enjoyed it more if it had been trimmed a bit... it was also a smaller portion than one would have expected for the price. Our service was great, especially considering we were STARVING and looking to get food ASAP.

We're so happy this new restaurant have popped up near to home. We will surely be back, especially for those beignets. Dear lord those were good...

“Food coma in the best way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

First visit and definitely a wow. Had the fried Brussels sprouts and if all our mothers did this no kids would ever complain. The pork shoulder was cut with a spoon tender and the beef shoulder was crumbly good. Service was excellent and super attentive. Thanks goes to our server Tony for the recommendations.

“good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

had the deviled eggs -- pretty good, not outstanding.
had the prime rib pork -- that was unique, different, a bit salty, but something I'd get again. I liked it.
lots of local micro beers. had several.

I'd go here. cool place.

“Great food, neat spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Went here for an early dinner as a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers on a Sunday of a long weekend. While waiting for our friends, we sat at the bar and started with happy hour drinks. We were then seated outside and staff was very accommodating getting our table of choice ready and bringing over a high-chair. Our server was great - lots of good recommendations, friendly and very patient with all the questions about what would be suitable for the kids, and a gluten-free diner.

We were there during restaurant week - one of us had dinner off the special prix-fee menu, the rest ordered off the regular menu. All were pleased with the food and would go back again. Meals included duck, tuna, beet salad, green chile grits, halibut. The flourless chocolate cake was to die for! But you need to save room - it's so rich we had to box it up after a few bites.

Only constructive criticism would be about the time it took for the meals to come out. It was not busy - we were practically the only ones out on the patio - and entrees took forever to come out. Not sure if this will improve over time - I don't think they've been open that long.
