“O.k. For breakfast buffet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Sunday morning we went for the breakfast buffet. There are no seafood or carving stations so it is not really considered a brunch. However, there are made to order omelets, pancakes, and waffles as well as the best crunchy French toast. There are bagels and lox, lots of fruit, cereals, and assorted Danish and croissants. The variety was great, but items were not refilled often enough. Also, the service was spotty. Our table of four had a long wait to get the water and coffee we requested. At $23 per person I feel we got reasonable value, but service and ambience could use some work.

“Rita knows how to cook”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Our meal was amazing. I started with a Margarita recommended by our server. Then we both had a California Baja Shrimp cocktail. Then I had a chicken dish with slivered potatoes and summer veggies. Just delicious. Service excellent.

“Tableside quacamole”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Get the table side guacamole and you won't regret it! Pass on the fish tacos though, they weren't anything special. Friendly servers in an atmosphere that I would describe more family friendly than romantic or formal.

“Excellent breakfast buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

We stayed at the Marriott Camelback and had the buffet on Saturday before driving to Sedona. The meal was included in our oom rate so expectations were low. We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience here! All hot food is made to order, great selection of pastries, lovely fresh fruit platters, excellent strong coffee. Although we were there for the buffet, we also had a waitress who was so pleasant and sunny that we wanted to just sit longer to enjoy her outlook. Everyone who worked there was eager to ensure we had a lovely meal, and we did!

“Wound not eat here again, even it were free.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

I'm reading all the positive reviews of this place in complete astonishment. Maybe I just had a bad experience, or maybe my taste is sliding downhill, but the whole experience was extremely average at best. I ordered fajitas, guacamole and drinks. I've actually had better at Chili's.

To top it off, the bill was something like $140 including tip. The only reason we went is because as guests of the hotel we had a $100 resort credit we had to burn through.

My friend claims he contracted mild food poisoning from his entree. His enchiladas haunted him until the next morning.

I wouldn't go again, even if it were free.
