Wow, Lon's provides a warm atmosphere is a 1930'3 hacienda built by cowboy artist Lon Megargee as his studio. The menu is small at absolutely fabulous. We had the mix appetizer, which is calamari and shrimp to start. They send out the sommelier to help choose the perfect whit. There are plenty of 1/2 bottle wine selections. I had the short ribs, which were lean, tasty and flavorful. My husband hd the duck breast and it too was great. We finished it all off with the cowboy snickers bar for desert, which was the best carmel - chocolate desert ever! They had a guitarist lightly playing in the background and was such a romantic setting. You must take a tour of the house and the art work. The place was recommended by a local person and is truly a hidden gem.
