“Very big cookies”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2011

The cookies ARE very large and pretty good. I wanted the sampler, but they did not have it that day. We also ordered a Pizza, it was pretty good, but a little blackish on the bottom. They were very busy and trying to make several orders. The brewed tea was very good as well, but I think the cookie, which serves 4, would have gone well with milk. When hiking Mt. Lemmon again I will go to the Cookie Cabin again as well. It was a nice little cabin in the sky. Service was good too.

“Gigantic Warm Cookies, Great Cappucinos, & Yummy Pizza!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2011

If you're in Tuscon and make the treck up Mount Lemmon, don't miss a stop at The Cookie Cabin. I've been here several times and just love the cozy atmosphere. The staff is GREAT, so warm and friendly! They really go out of there way to make you feel welcomed. The GIANT cookies (big enough to cover a dinner plate) are warm and delicious. Plus the pizza, with the mounds of cheese and toppings are not to be missed either.

“Best cookie a la mode!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2010

I often go to the cookie cabin for the famous giant chocolate chip cookie with lots of ice cream on top and chocolate syrup on top. Its delicious. I have also had the chili with onions and cheese which is very good. They had even made a rootbeer float which wasn't on the menu at the time for a big group of us. Best of all I like to sit outside and enjoy the view. Often there is birds on the guard rail. The owner used to make a fire for us outside in the winter. I don't know if he still going to do that now that he has expanded his outdoor seating. I really think visitors should go to experience this for themselves.

“Do Not Eat Here - the Food is Aweful & Laughable”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2010

Holy moly, folks - when you go to Mt. Lemmon, you'll see this charming little place right on the main drag in Summerhave. If you go in there to sit in a nice alpine cabin and have a soda, that's one thing, but if you go in here to actually eat a meal, watchout. Their only food, really, is cookies and pizza. The cookies are gigantic, burned and feel like you're eating a mouthful of goo. They are anything but good, and I can't recommend them. The cookies aren't thin and crisp, crunchy or even chewy. Their commercial, doughy, floury and 'caky'. Now, if you eat the pizza, watchout. It's expensive and terrible. Ours came burned, took forever, and was piled high with off the shelf ingredients. The cabin is kinda cozy, but they don't have a wood fire - it's gas. Plus, the seating on the patio is uncomfrtable, and there are no baby changing facilities in the restroom. Summerhaven is so woefully mis-equipped to handle anything resembling an enjoyable dining experience, so take my advice and pack your food on up there with you and avoid this place. You'll thank me.

“Review for food not Cabins: Great place to spot for a bite to eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2009

Many times when you go up to Mt Lemmon during the week this spot is the only dining spot open, but that is a-ok with me! They have tasty homemade giant cookies with ice cream, pizza (that I have never tried but my friends enjoy), and at times Chili (again I have not tried). They also serve soda, hot tea, hot coco, etc. Everytime I have gone the staff has been very friendly, even going out of their way to bring my dogs some water to drink! Nice seating (though limited) inside the cabin and wonderful views from outside seats!
It is located at the bottom of Summerhaven Village (not ski valley)
