Savaii Lagoon Resort – The perfect place to go and enjoy yourself, especially if you are trying to avoid our NZ Winter! There is everything you need to enjoy yourself, while in idyllic surroundings – A beautiful safe lagoon, swimming, snorkeling and diving in 30 degree water which is full of colourful fish! Boats, Bicycles & Canoes to get around in. If you want to go further a field and explore the rest of the island, the friendly manager can arrange for a rental car on Savaii & Apollu. A walk along the beach for drinks and an evening meal on the deck of the restaurant next door as the sun sets is a great way to finish off your days exploring. I would certainly go back to Savaii Lagoon again because I love being right on the beach and being able to do my own thing, but also having the friendly staff there if you need any help.

April / may 08 my wife and i spent ten days on the island of Savaii in Samoa staying at Savaii Lagoon Resort.Savaii is the most beutiful place with real frendly and smiley people who always greet you and make you feel right at home,nothing is too much trouble for them.Of the two islands Apollo and Savaii the only choice for us was Savaii , it is the more traditonial of the two with beutiful scenery and lovely beaches with warm waters to swim and snorkel in.
The Savaii Lagoon Resort is a great place to stay,clean and well run with six fales all fully self contained so you can do your own cooking or if you want to eat out it is only a one minute walk down the beach to Le Lagoto for a meal on the deck under the palm trees while you watch the sunset.The staff at the Resort are the most frendly and obliging people you would ever meet and did everything in their power to make our stay one that we will always remember.Can't wait until we can go back,i know that this will be a place where we will go to again and again.This was our second stay and we higly recommend Savaii Lagoon Resort. We returned to Savaii Lagoon Resort again for a winter break and it was even better than our previous experience.The manager and his wife were extremely friendly and very, very helpful.The bungalows were well cleaned and the tropical breakfast set us up nicely for a hard day in the lagoon snorkelling. Its hard to fault this set-up - UV filtered water, magnificent beach on the doorstep, uncrowded and self-catering with the added bonus of a classy little restaurant next door if you want to dine out. If you love natural surroundings, easy living, and friendly people this is the place. If you like rassamatazz , concrete jungles, chlorinated pools, crowds, set diner menus and fun palaces - I strongly urge you to go somewhere else and leave this little gem to us!!!!!

We have just returned from 12 magic days at Savaii Lagoon. 9 of us stayed in 3 bungalows on the beach. We were extremely well looked after by the family running the resort and enjoyed interacting with them. Andi ,Fafoga and staff could not have been more hospitable. We had a downs man with us and the staff made a real fuss of him which made his holiday very special. The lagoon and beach is the best on the island with amaizing snorkling and swimming.On our last night the staff and family put on a concert for us which was great fun and we tried to contribute with a few of our songs but could not match their natural talent.We will definitely be back!!
