Me and my partner stayed at Princesa Maria for 8 days in July and found it be a very friendly and welcoming hostel. It is family-run and nothing is too much trouble, everyone that works there is very helpful.
The hostel is a few minutes’ walk from the main square which is a bonus as the night time is quiet, meaning we were able to sleep really well. We stayed in a matrimonial room with cable tv and bathroom with a good hot water shower at all times. We paid $7 per person per night.
There is a kitchen available for guests to use and there is wifi throughout the building.
