My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during Carnaval. The views are outstanding. The owners were very nice. We had a mix up about the horses. The horses did not come for us and we had to carry our luggage up the hill. I was a little disgruntled by the time I got to the hotel entrance. The owners Mayra and George quickly mellowed me out with fresh squeezed lemonade and cold cervezas. They started up the hot tub for us and after 20 minutes I had forgotten about our hike. We actually used the hot tub all 3 nights. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was always good. I liked the breakfasts and the fresh juices. We walked up and down the trail a couple of times and it isn't bad when you don't have luggage. The owners told me they had to carry building materials and even the refrigerator up the trail. They have done a lot of work and should be proud of themselves. I wish them nothing but good fortune. The day we checked out the gardener carried our heaviest bag down the hill while I carried the lighter one. If you plan to stay here and are old and out of shape like me, make sure you arrange for the horses. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it. PS: the rooms were clean and very comfortable.
