Very friendly staff. Room a little small but you don't stay in your room while there. Breakfast room with a wonderfull view. Breakfast was ok.

Staff at front desk were very attentive and kind.  They alowed us to check in early which was wonderful seeing as we have a baby.  Room was clean and we were happy to find a nice clean crib in our room.  Front desk was very helpful with tours, taxis and directions.  Hotel is in an ideal location in downtown near shops and restaraunts and a short bus ride to national park.  Overall hotel was okay except for a few things.  Walls are paper thin and leave  very little to the imagination as far as what your neighbors are doing.  We had a couple staying next to us who liked to make noise until midnight and wake up at four in the morning.  They kept waking us and our baby up.  Internet never worked anywhere in hotel.  Rooms are tiny.  Breakfast is great if you have a sweet tooth in the morning.  I do not and i prefer real orange juice to flavored sugar water.  Following our morning breakfast Jorge called our room and accused us of taken a spoon from our table.  They later found the spoon.   WE SPEND HUNDREDS OF US DOLLARS AT YOUR HOTEL AND YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT A SPOON?  REALLY?   This type of service including the sheet next to your bed explaining how much you will  be charged if you ruin anything in your room is incredible!

Mil810 does the job of giving you a clean and comfy place to rest your head and fuel you up in the morning to climb glaciers, sail through icebergs, play with penguins or whatever it is you journeyed to Ushuiaia to do.

But was it worth the cost (approx. $165 USD)? Not completely sure. If you’re on a budget, just stay in a hostel. You’ll meet more interesting people and you’ll hardly be in your room anyway. Save your money for all the incredible things you can do in Ushuaia (see Tres Marias in Things to Do).

The hotel is very modern, boutique-style, with excellent design. The location is also perfect, two blocks up from the main street. The wifi is working without any problems in the rooms too. Highly recommended for those who would like to stay in great comfort in Ushuaia. Small minus point: sometimes you can hear strange noises from the machine room, which was close to our room on the 4th floor.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2012

Stayed one night in Mil810, as part of package tour to Antarctica. Nice modern hotel, one and half block uphill from the main street San Martin. Beautiful décor in the lobby area. My room is comfortable though on the small side. When someone is sitting at the writing desk, there is hardly any space between the bed and the chair for another person to pass through. The self-helped continental breakfast on the 4th floor was very good, with lots of selection. Our attendant was kind enough to unlock the doors to the terrace outside so we could take pictures. Staff at the receptionist desk is friendly and helpful. Hotels in Ushuaia are expensive and Mil810, compared to other hotels in similar price range, is a decent hotel, right in town and close to everything.

I've just returned from a business trip to Ushuaia and stayed at the Mil810. , about 2 blocks up hill from the main shopping / restaurant street. The reception staff are very efficient and friendly and speak good english.

The rooms are a reasonable size for 1 person with a comfortable bed. The bathrooms are small, but adequate...with an acceptable shower over the bath. Breakfast is pretty basic, but adequate if you like Cold Breakfast (no bacon and egg in site).

The Hotel has Wi-fi, but it's pretty slow and keeps dropping signal. Adequate for doing a few e-mails, but not fast enough to support a relaible VPN connection.

The only real negative is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, including the guy next door having a pee at 4:00am.

In summary, an adequate and comfortable hotel, but I know there are better in the town.

Room Tip: Walls are paper thin, so get a room away from the public areas. Avoid 3rd floor or you will hear bre...
