We had a couple of hours to kill in Ushaia and were recommended this restaurant by our tour operator and our local guide. In fact it was so popular we had to queue to get in - along with people who'd eaten there before and thought it was worth waiting for. It's a tiny restaurant overlooking the harbour, with tables squeezed in to every inch of space. We both ordered the same dish - the Merluza Tia Elvira - hake cooked with mussels, king crab and cheese. It came in a single large dish like a lasagne dish, accompanied only by bread, and was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly but a bit overstretched given how busy the place was. Luckily things quietened down while we were there as they take last orders for lunch at 3 pm. We'd definitely go back again.
