After a windy stroll to explore Ushuaia, we ended up on the sea front, outside Ramos. It looked pretty closed, but we pushed the door just in case and I'm so glad we did!
Over the course of our two days in Ushuaia we visited twice, and both times were great. A coffee and an amazing lemon pastry was our first experience, alongside locals and tourists, packed away from the wind and rain outside. There's a really nice, homely feel, and good service.
On our return, we went for a glass of wine (and a penguin of beer for the husband) and two baguettes, which were really delicious. Greed meant we also got two more of the exceptionally lovely lemon pastries to take with us on our afternoon outing.
Don't miss this little gem.
