4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The rooms are clean and spectacular!! well furnished.
the breakfast is excellent and adequate dinner.
The lobby Bar it's perfect place to relax after a long day hiking.
The staff were super attentive, assisting with organising car hire for us.
Would definitely go back.

We reserved a room with lake view, somewhat more expensive, but had a special deal with dinner included. This is very convenient, as the hotel is far from Calafate, although there is free shuttle service every hakf an hour, starting at 5 p.m., but in the morning you have to walk to town (about 45 to 60 minutes), take a taxi or of course you can be picked up, if you go on an excursion. Rooms are very nicely furnished, the bathroom is well equipped, the personnel is extremely friemdly and helpful, the view from the garden is beautiful. Breakfast has a great choice of foods, jams and juices not the best quality, but in general it is satisfactory, specially the bread selection is excellent. The dinner menu has three choices of main course, the food is acceptable, but not gourmet cooking. There is a good selection of wines.

Room Tip: Lake view rooms are the best

Although the rooms and lobby area were very nice, the location was a problem. Although they do have a shuttle, there are very limited hours, undependable service and space on the shuttle, and to get a taxi you have to either call a taxi to come to the hotel or in town you have to go to a taxi stand to get to the hotel. The reception staff were very kind but rather inept. Breakfast was great and the view of the Lago Argentina was terrific.
