“Good Stay and close to town & National Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

The hotel is ok to very good, breakfast is very good, you can walk to town and the staff was helpful in regards of activities in the surroundings, such as navigate the glaciars and trekking.
They help us out with the latter, including transportation. Rooms are comfortable. Recommended.

This hotel has everything you need in El Calafate. It is a short walk to the main road and has comfortable rooms. The breakfast is average. The worst part about this place is the rooster that lives next door. I'm not kidding. As soon as the sun comes up, which is VERY early in the summer, he gets to work. It is loud, and will wake you up and keep you awake. If it wasn't for the rooster, I would recommend the place. But on the off chance it is still there, I would book a different hotel.

Room Tip: The rooster that lives next door is loud and will keep you awake.

Nice staff, comfortable room, great breakfast, good location. Wifi barely worked inside the room, had to go into hallway but the hotel also gives you access to 2 (older) computers. But overall a very nice place to stay.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the town but that is about all! The staff were not very helpful and in fact pretty clueless about the surrounding attractions and trips on offer. We stayed over the easter wk end so by the time it came to leave all the cash machines in town were empty and we needed to get some cash from the reception in order to get our taxi to the airport - they charged us the most extortionate amount -i.e. over a 20% charge!!! Your hotel should be a safe haven not out to take advantage of you! Rooms and breakfast were also very average indeed.

Our party of 4 spent 2 nights at this very convenient hotel close to the main street where restaurants, bars and shops can be found. Prior to arrival, staff was very helpful to help us booking a tour to the Perito Moreno glacier. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast buffet was good, free wifi all around the premises, nothing to complain about, this hotel it worth the price paid.

Stayed 2 nights at the Calafate Parque hotel which is very close to the centre of the town. All the staff were extremely helpful particularly when we had a problem with a transfer to Chile phoning Santiago on our behalf with no charge, impressive.
The rooms are reasonably spacious and the whole building in good order. Breakfast is very good and the whole atmosphere relaxing.

This hotel is located just one block away from the main road. Everything within short walking distance. It is nice and quiet. Rooms are well-equipped and breakfast is more than generous. For those who need to bring lunch packages for excursions, the hotel is happy to make them for you. We found the reception personnel very helpful and with excellent knowledge of the various excursions in the area. Make sure to include a trip to the great glaciers. Perito Moreno, of course, but I can also recommend a tour to the Estancia Nibepo Aike.
