This restaurant is a block or two off the Main Street in El Calafate, so it is a welcome quiet place to enjoy a fabulous meal.
We also arrived at 8 PM, which is early, and people really started to arrive by 9:30.
The chef is a young, creative guy who is passionate about food. The butter that accompanied the bread was flavored with fresh herbs, and arrived with some "salsas" that were great. We split an order of slow cooked lamb, and an order of black cod wrapped in parchment. It was definitely enough for three, and delicious. They served an appetizer (complimentary) of beef we cooked ourselves on a hot rock. The chef also had us try a new appetizer of lamb heart that was grilled and served with another herb butter.
All in all we all enjoyed the meal, and had a great time with the chef. A wonderful oasis in a very touristy town..
