“Nice hotel with an excellent restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2010

This hotel is really a very nice place to spend some relaxing days at El Calafate. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped.
The restaurant is one of the best in town. Polite and helpful staff. If you want to stay a whole day at the hotel you can to enjoy the spa, a heated swimming pool and the golf court.

The hotel is not cheap but it provides a great cost-benefit to the guest. Everything is in a perfect state, the spa is complete, commum and private areas are decorated with good taste and the staff is very professional. Another point to be considered by the visitor is related to the location which is next to the mean street. I believe it is a worth investiment for relaxing vacations.

I recently returned from El Calafate. I stayed in the Posada Los Alamos hotel, which I highly recommend. The restaurant at the hotel has great food and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel is extremely charming, has nicely sized rooms and is very clean. The hotel is just a few blocks from the main street that runs through town, so shopping, dining, site-seeing, and more are all just a five-minute walk away.

I'm usually not one for bus tours, etc., however, if you visit Calafate, be sure to take advantage of local tours to ensure you get the best experience in visiting the breathtaking glaciers and other natural wonders of the region. And bring your best camera!

The hotel has great facilities with a fantastic swimming pool. The rooms are confortable but could be renovated a little bit. It has a great location on town, it is just 2 blocks from the main street. We've stayed at the suite, wich had also a nice jacuzzi.

A three part hotel. Although each part is not too far away from the others. The dining area is over the road from the room sections. As long as it is not raining or cold this is ok, I suppose. You have to be careful in selecting a room. Ours was smallish and dingy with very ilttle light or view from its window; and this was the second attempt. Some times it is not clear from where trips will leave. Identify the appropriate reception. All seemed very busy in this place.
The pool is good but the golf offered is "pitch and putt" and potentially dangerous as holes criss-cross alarmingly.

It's an excellent choice for people that like to enjoy a very good hotel. Rooms are not big but very comfortable. Service is very good also. I can mention (different from the other review) that I saw 2 and 3 persons in the front desk.
Restaurant is excellent. The best patagonic lamb I've ever teasted. Breakfast is also excellent!!!
Pool is not too big but almost nobody go there, so most of the time it's only for you!
And if you like golf, you can use it.
I didn't have the time, but
