“Great place! Somewhere to return again and again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Just ended a week stay with my wife in Aldea Andina and was the best choice we could make. We drove all the way to thee amazing city of Bariloche, and had a lot of fun in Aldea Andina.
Staff was great, the room was perfect and cozy, and loved the family-style of the place.

It was a pity that I didn't have a tennis partner since the place has both tennis and paddle courts. We had dinner both at the restaurant in the lodge and in our room (ordering room service) and it was very good.

The location of the resort was exactly what we needed, both very near to downtown Bariloche and away enough to have a relaxing time.

We were offered lots of adventure activities, but as I got there with a leg injury we just visited some lakes and sight seeings that will always remember.

I can only say positive things about the resort and the surroundings.

Thank you guys! Will be back.

“Very Good, Congrats!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012

Having read the recent reviews on trip advisor we booked this hotel hoping , but not expecting , this to be as good as everyone says . Well it wasn't as good , it was BETTER !
We were upgraded from a double to a king room which was a lovely surprise , the bathroom was big and had lovely toiletries. The location is excellent as it is close to the city centre (2 km), on the main road but still in the middle of an amzing woods. The service is impeccable , nothing is too much trouble . A special thanks to Carlos and his team for a lovely stay, we will return .

“Lots of problems”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2012

After reading all the great reviews on this hotel, I was looking forward to a relaxing stay but my experience was very different to that of previous travelers. We got to Hotel Aldea Andina and was immediately greeted with construction surrounding the premises. The reception staff spoke no English to us and we struggled to check-in. After 20 minutes, we got to our room which was the furthest possible room. There is no wi-fi in the rooms and the wi-fi available in the lobby is slower than average. We booked through expedia, and the hotel was listed to have a washer and dryer in the room but this was not present. There were several other things not present as detailed on their expedia page, such as bicycles on site. We asked the receptionist if there was a laundry service (since there were no laundry machines) and was told we could bring our clothes to the front to have them take care of it for us. Little did we know that there was a time limit on this process and that we were 20 minutes too late (when we asked 25 minutes ago). After some fuss, they managed to work out something for us but this was all extremely stressful in our broken spanish and their broken english. The other thing to take note is the distance from the city center. Bariloche is very much walkable but only if you are in the center. The hotel is located 2km away which is very walkable but not the most comfortable walk (sandy roads with a constant flow of traffic). If you are staying here with a family and have a car, the location may be desirable but not if you are without transportation.

“Great place...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2011

I had a great week here. The hotel is great, and by the time i left i was practically friends with all the staff... The main thing though, if like me you like to be active, there is an unending list of things to do. Particularly recommend the horse riding days and the fishing (if you're into that...). Bariloche is amazing by the way!

“Perfect mix!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2011

I have been to the south of Argentina several times and have spent time in different places. This was the fist time I was traveling with a girlfriend! I thought I "knew" what to expect from 10 days in Bariloche... but this was so much more!
First of all, the site is clean and neat, and welcomes you with a lot of green, a well taken care of garden and especially with the warmest people! They were all very friendly and at some point you forget you are in a hotel and you feel "at home".
The rooms are perfect: I don't like stuff "too fancy", so I had the right feeling. Comfortable, spacious and cozy. Same thing with breakfast: simple but great. Great flavors, great food, and the right amount.
The adventures are awesome! Safe and thrilling, you can make your day as your mood goes by.
One more thing: doesn't matter how tired you are at night, ALWAYS save half an hour to walk around and enjoy the skies! It is quiet and very romantic. Even better if you have a drink to share.
Cheers guys, you made me have the most wonderful week and I cranked a couple of notches in my GFriend's scale :)
All the best!
