“Lovely hotel on Lake Nahuel Huapi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2011

Had a great room right on the lake and the only negative is that we had to keep the window open at nite to get some fresh air as the hotel has no a/c and when the wind howled it had an impact on our sleep.
Nevertheless we loved our stay at Inacayal. It was easy to walk to downtown Bariloche and reastaurants. The breakfast buffet was very complete and delicious. The staff was very nice.
It was an easy drive from the Bariloche airport and the hotel is on the road to most sightseeing areas. I will come back here.

After several sleepless nights in another nearby establishment, we needed to spoil ourselves and spent 3 comfortable nights in this great hotel.

The pool and the hot-tub were great, the food in the restaurant was very good, the room extremely clean and modern (with great wi-fi connection) with a great view.

Very happy with the friendly staff, the view, and the comfort!

This is THE HOTEL for those who want to stay close to the city, fantastic rooms, mainly the ones with lake view, the food is ok, but I am a person that doesn't like to eat in hotels, and Bariloche has some very good restaurants that we must go.
The hotel has a wonderful pool with infinite view to the lake, worths every moment.

If you're fortunate enough to get a lakeside room, this may be a wonderful hotel, Unfortunately, I did not. The hotel is in a fairly good location, on the lake (one of only a few in the city) but on the main road and next to a night club so if your window doesn't point at the lake your view is of the parking lot and you enjoy the sounds of the main road and of the drunk patrons of the night club at 0300. And being a non smoking establishment, all the smokers are beneath your open window as well (no A/C).
So, no view, no sleep and plenty of cigarette smoke.
Breakfast is good and the wine bar prices are quites reasonable but there are many nicer places just minutes down the road ... so why stay here?

This hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Rooms are spacious and they have an excellent view over the lake. Contrary to a previous post I found the staff very helpful (we do not speak Spanish). Breakfast is good and the prices are very reasonable in the bar. Free parking if you have a car. Would definitely stay here on a return trip to Bariloche

You enter the hotel on a middle floor and then go up or down to your room. All rooms are arranged around an atrium. Architecturally, this is a very interesting and special place.
Our room faced the lake. It was small but had a bay window overlooking the lake and Andes views. Pretty and scenic.
While the furnishings were slightly faded, all was comfortable. We were thankful for the heat in the room because Bariloche can be very windy and chilly even in the height of their summer: January.

It is a short walk to the center of the town of Bariloche. There are two free computers on the premises.

The hotel's restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. We ate dinner there one night and were very pleased. They also serve a good breakfast.

Make sure you get a lake view for your room, it will make all the difference. The view is fantastic. This hotel is nice, and quite big. My only complaints would be the noise (but not too bad if you are a pretty sound sleeper) from the disco next door which goes all night, and the staff. They were not very helpful nor friendly to anyone who doesn´t speak spanish, compared to all my other hotel stays in Argentina.
