As there was limited availability at the Aldebaran we chose to spend our last 2 nights in Bariloche at the Patagonia Vista. As there were so few reviews of this hotel, I was a bit apprehensive about it and got a wonderful surprise when we arrived. The hotel conists of individual appartments. We had one for 2 people which consisted of a large bedroom with a kitchen separated by a breakfast bar and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The room was very clean, very modern with beautiful furniture, good quality bedding and nice robes. Everything was new and comfortable. Our room had a TV and DVD player and the kitchen was fully equipped.
When we arrived I asked for some milk so that we could make some tea and was given the breakfast tray, loaded with wonderful warm flaky croissants and bread, jam, dulce de leche, milk, tea, coffee and chocolate. This was delivered to our room every morning at a time specified by us in advance.
Every room has a terrace with sun-loungers with a fantastic view of the lake. There was a pool and spa which were spotless.
The staff didn't speak much English but they were all absolutely wonderful, so accommodating and friendly. We were sorry that we couldn't have stayed for a week as it was a home from home.
The location was great, on the road to Llao Llao, serviced by the number 20 bus from Barlioche town.
I've added photos as I feel this hotel isn't marketed enough and is a secret gem in Bariloche.
