This is not a hotel, but rightly terms itself a "guest house". It has 4 or 5 rooms above the owner's (Bernardo) house. The room we had was pleasantly furnished and exceptionally clean and tidy, overlooking the garden full of heavily laden apple trees. The other rooms appeated to be similarly well appointed. Bernardo could not be more helpful, and speaks excellent English.
Situated about 4 blocks back from the lakefront it is about a 10 minte walk to the main street in Bariloche, but is in a great area close to many of the the restaurants that are top-rated on T.A, and also close to a supermarket.
The breakfast is the only slight negative , consisting of dried toast and weak coffee, but nothing else can be faulted.
It's merits seem not to have been discovered by the taxi drivers, who plainly had never heard of it, but if you want an exceptional value guesthouse that is well situated, this is a gem you should check out.
