“Great Cruise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

We had a great time!
The "servicio adicional" was definitely worth it.
They provide great service, snacks, drinks, and guides.
Feeding the seagulls is fun too!

“Excellent guide on this cruise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

We took this cruise during our stay in Bariloche as a group of 3. Our spanish isn't stellar, but this was solved by our guide Sebastian, who did a more than epic job of ensuring we got the same info as the others. It almost felt like we had a private guide on our tour. There are two trips, make sure to take the long one as you'll enjoy the time on Victoria island!

The boat trip itself goes to Victoria island, which offers some forests and really beautiful views of the lake. Do take the time to walk up the blue path to the top of the hill, you'll get some of the best views there. It also goed to El Bosque de Arrayanes, which is nice to see the local trees, but doesn't offer many spectaculair vistas.

Be careful on the deck of the boat though, as they make an attraction out of feeding crackers to seagulls, who will then proceed to defecate on the crowds!

“Mixed review”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

I went on the trip to Bosque de Arrayanes and Isla Victoria. The boat ride was very enjoyable and the scenery is lovely. I was in the VIP section and it was comfortable with lots of snacks.

The Arrayanes Forest was just wonderful. I have never seen trees like that before in my life. The orange bark contrasted beautifully with the green leaves, and they grew in such wonderfully twisted ways! But the smell, oh, the smell! I wish I could have bottled it up to take with me. It was winter when I was there, so it was cold, but with such an intense scent of luscious vegetation. It was wonderful.

Isla Victoria was... meh. As far as walks go, it wasn't all that special. Certainly not after the Arrayanes forest. This part of the trip should really be ranked as average. But the boat trip and the myrtle forest knock it up to very good.

“Very nice for half a day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

I agree with other opinions that better to go for a half-day tour. We had enough time for Bosque de Arrayanes and for Isla Victoria. Probably if you take food with you and want to spend time on the beach or go for a long walk on the Isla Victoria, then full day may be an option.
Everything was on schedule, both guides spoke good English and were very helpful.
As usual of such trips, they try to sell you photos, we didn't try food on the boat.
Obviously it is touristic, but nature is so beautiful, that I definitely recommend this trip.

“Worth going but only half a day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Definitely go to Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes but pay fhe extra price to access the VIP section of the boat and take the afternoon trip. There's not so much to do in Isla Victoria other than walking (and we didn't fancied the three hour walk excursion), the restaurant there is terrible so if you go for a full day tour as we did you will end up wanting to leave the island, looking at your watch for the boat to come back and pick you up.
