We enjoyed our stay at Piedra del Condor. The views are great, the food is pretty good and the rooms are adequate. No entertainment of any kind, no tvs, no guest computer. We did not try to use internet, so I can't speak to that. We were looking to get away from that kind of stuff, so we didn't mind at all. The staff was all very friendly and attentive (but see below). The place is fairly remote (which is what we were looking for), but there are some buses that pass by between Bariloche and El Bolson.
We arrived later than planned because our taxi driver "got lost." Because we arrived at 11:00PM there was no one at the lobby, and we ended up being stranded outside. Our cell phones didn't work in Argentina, so we had no way to call them or a taxi or anything. We finally ended up walking 5 kms to another place for our first night. That was disappointing. I guess it is important to let them know if you might be later than planned. Also, because of that whole ordeal, our stay only lasted 3 nights, so we did not get our 4 for the price of 3 deal. When I emailed about this, I infer from their reply that they don't care, that they think it is my fault, and no recompense for the inconvenience.
