“Get the lamb!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

If you're looking for good parilla, this is a safe bet. I highly recommend getting the parilla with lamb - the lamb is a knockout and the highlight of the plate (the beef flank steak left a lot to be desired). We didn't find anhinga greasy at all. If you aren't a fan of organ meats, the best thing to order is the lamb on its own. Wine was well priced and the free dip they give you as a starter is amazing. It will probably set you back around US$100 for two for a parilla, salad, and wine.

“Lots of fish and seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by the tour director on our ship and he was right. We ordered the fish and seafood platter for two and it was huge and delicious. Two large fillets of fish topping a bowl of assorted seafood - shrimp, octopus, mussels, clams, etc. That and a bowl of delicious french fries didn't leave enough room for dessert. And the waiters spoke enough English that we were able to order without any problem. Well worth a visit and a great change from the overcooked fish on the ship.

“When you need non cruise chow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

By the time we stopped at Puerto Madryn, I needed something other than ship cuisine. We found
this small restaurant one block beyond where the port intersects the main street. We knew it
was good when we noticed local citizens and their families eating there. Wife and I shared
broiled lamb and beef rubbed with exquisite garlic and herbs. Vincente was excellent as our food
advisor. The sides, such as mashed potatoes were so so and not served as Americans serve
it but the beef and lamb are both worth making this restaurant a visit when cruising.

“The meat isn't worth a penny.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

We ordered the grill mix. The meat was really fat and greasy. I even had the taste of fat the morning after - disgusting. I just can't say anything else.

The prices were ok - but given that the meat was so bad, I just have to say that the value is poor.

The service was really friendly. The location is just fine. If only the meat was good!
