“Magnificent Hotel in excellent location, with great service”

This hotel is excellent. All the people working there are very friendly, professional and courteous. It has a magnificent view of the city and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice sun deck and pool. The decoration is modern, using the local colors and culture as inspiration. It also has a nice small casino.
Sheraton is not such a high quality hotel chain in the US, but in Argentina they are 4 to 5 stars hotels.
This property is one of the best I have ever experienced. I asked for directions everyday to local attractions, restaurants, and trips, and always received very thorough information with a friendly smile.
The General Manager is very professional. He also manages Patios de Cafayate, where I was going for my birthday after leaving Salta. When I arrived, they had a bottle of very fine champagne and a chocolate cake waiting for me.
This is top of the world service.

My husband and I just came back from Argentina, just beautiful. We stayed in many hotels for the month of January. The Sheraton Salta Hotel was a beautiful one. We were there for 4 days. The great location, beautiful pool & area (even heated for the few cool days/nights), nice lobby, easy internet access, beautiful room, very friendly staff was all great. We could not complain much, except for the food at the hotel was not up to par. The service at the bar was very slow; it took a little under an hour just to get a bottle of wine. But that said, the breakfasts were very nice and much to select from. We would definitely recommend it. The city of Salta is quite beautiful as well. From two Canadian travelers.

The location is incredible, quiet but also centrally located just about 10 blocks from the Plaza. The desk staff is incredibly helpful and speak great English -- this was a very important trait as we had trouble getting our luggage from the airline. The pool is really amazing with an increible view and the restaurant quiet perfect. The rooms are impeccable and spacious, and a good value.

Stayed there in FEB 2008 It is a nice hotel well priced and great location overlooking SALTA. We have to say the food at the main resaurant was excellent and we had a suite which was great for 2 adults and two children. Its a 10 min walk into town. The staff was great , One gal actually babysat for us one night which was amazing!

The pool is great again having a nice oasis to come back to after a day in the country or touring is nice. The hotel has a Casino attached and a ATM and a nice bar. Very accomdating and friendly place.

After a few weeks for small, slightly dodgy hotels in Argentina we decided to book a major chain hotel in Salta. We were very pleased with the service, the room and in particular the view from the room and terrace. Let's face it, at times it's actually very nice to relax in a large, well equipped, anonymous hotel. Living with the locals has its limits.

Also - a great location for walking around the city.

Loved Salta too - although it does take a bit of walking around to find the good bits.
