We recently stayed in Legado while visiting the Salinas Grandes, Purmamarca and Humahuaca, all in the greater Salta region. It lived up to its website and the positive reviews, from the moment we entered the narrow hallway that leads to reception. The road on which the hotel is located is somewhat nondescript but, once inside, Legado is an oasis of style and tranquility. As noted by previous reviewers, this boutique hotel is decorated to a high standard and this quality is retained throughout, including the more than ample bedrooms. The breakfast is good and the staff are very attentive. Any issues that needed dealing with were addressed in a very professional manner, in keeping with what you would expect from a hotel that clearly prides itself on its service and hospitality. For travellers who want a quiet, high quality, boutique experience in Salta, Legado should not disappoint.
