While in the Mesa area, checking out places to stay for anticipated business travel over the next year, we decided to try this Holiday Inn. At checkin, we got our room keys, but when we entered the room, there was someone else' belongings in the room! And this room on the first floor looked really small for two beds. The front desk staff, then gave us another room on the 3rd floor which was bigger, and overlooked the courtyard. The only problem with the room itself was the air conditioning unit was rather large and stuck out into the room! The hotel itself was nice, the room clean and comfortable, and the business center had two computers for guest use. The pool was FANTASTIC! Liked the fact that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. There is a restaurant on site, but we did not eat there, so cannot really say what that was like, although I did go to the lounge for a nightcap.

I don't know where the last reviewer stayed - but it sure couldn't have been here. I stayed here about a year ago and the stay was OK.. This time - what a change! Great service, good food and the price was perfect. They have the best pools in the east valley and a location that's close to everything. Our room was very comfortable, but I was told when I was there that they are redoing all their rooms. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon.

This place is a dump!! We were promised a shuttle from the airport and they refused to pick us up! We couldn't use our balcony as the roof was being painted and the fumes were overwhelming!! People smoke right beside the pool and in the hot tub so if you are a non smoker, it is impossible to enjoy them. The pool is always dirty. Our room was not cleaned numerous days until after 4 PM. The front desk staff were rude. The bathroom is so old the walls are peeling and the tub looked like it was going to cave in!

The best part - they charged my credit card TWICE and refused to credit the additional charges!!!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!

We stayed there April 12, 08 for one nite. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink,
The outside of the window was only cleaned up to my eye level which left the top looking very dirty.
The hotel's 5 stories surrounded the pool on 3 sides so it doesen't get sun until aprox 2:30. This hotel isn't as good as the Best Western Dobson Ranch and charges considerably more. They are both very convenient to Freeways and Restaurants.
