“Dirty Don't stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

We were with a group and travelling " Comfort" , well meant to be. This hotel is dirty, stains everywhere. At breakfast the milk was off and some of the fruit off, plates chipped.

Not recommended, the quality is low and the price is quite expensive for the town. The rooms are old, with old furniture and old sheets and towels. The rooms are not isolated so you can hear just everything your neighbourg is doing...

They are also not trustworthy, they showed to me one room at first that helped me deciding to stay but then I was moved to another quite worse for the same price! and the only alternative they gave to me was to leave the hotel, not really a friendly reaction!
There are plenty of better places with very nice people in Puerto Iguazu, as I could easily find after I checked out!

Room Tip: I am not sure they do have good rooms.. the ones that look better are separated by thin pannels from...

Don't go!
Room and bathroom for midgets.
Cleanliness was null.
I immediately checked out and moved to another hotel.
My pictures are self-explanatory.

Like others there was A/C problems. The room was not as clean as one would expect. Had to let the water run for about 15 min to get hot water. The hotel staff was helpful. The breakfast was ok at best. Location was great. Resturants, stores and bus station were in walking distance. The pool and pool area were good.

Close all the windows and get some "Off" bug protection spray the mosquitos here are deadly! This place is a 2 star hotel with older rooms, TV and bed. you can here the other rooms TV's if they are on at night. The breakfast isn't bad and the beds were decent.

Even though we were only expecting a basic room we were extremely disappointed with this hotel. Our room felt like a sauna when we first walked in. After carrying our bags up several flights of stairs on a hot day to reach our room we found we were unable to turn on the A/C. It appears that someone at the front desk has to turn the units on from there. It would have been nice if this had been done automatically. The room itself looked extremely run down. The towels were all stained and/or frayed. There was a small cockroach in the bathroom. The basin and toilet were stained. There were hairs in the basin and on the edges of the shower cubicle. The A/C unit rattled so much the window vibrated. It was too hot to sleep without it so we asked whether we could change rooms. Thankfully there was another room available but they didn’t offer to help us with our bags as we climbed up and down stairs to get to our new room and they made us take our towels with us as they had already been used. The second room was worse than the first although it had a quieter A/C unit (and no cockroaches). The mattresses did not have a cover on them just the thin sheets we slept on. The pillows were so thin they were almost useless. The surfaces of the beside tables were damaged, the walls stained, the tiles on the bathroom floor and inside the shower were damaged, the shower head looked dirty and corroded, the shower curtain didn’t reach the floor. We borrowed one of the towels (no one in their right mind would steal these) for our trip to Iguazu Falls and on our return were welcomed in reception by one of the housekeepers who told us that she was missing a towel and that if we lost it we would have to pay for it. Perhaps if less time was spent lying in wait for guests this hotel would at least be clean…In summary, not a great hotel.

This hotel is basic, but functional and clean. It is in the centre of the town, right opposite the bus station. The rooms were reasonably sized and clean. Hot showers. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even phoned our tour guide when one of my fellow travellers left their security box open, then took the stuff and put it behind the front desk for safety. Basic breakfast included. Not as bad as some of the other reviews make it out to be.
