We checked out this restaurant late afternoon to see if it was open for dinner. The host, Alberto, invited us inside and offered us cold drinks which we really needed. He was so excited to meet with tourists from Australia and talk about our country - we had no Spanish, he had some English but somehow we were able to communicate ok.
We came back for dinner later. We sat in the garden area out back which was typical " Southern European village style". There was no menu so Alberto explained each dish, only limited choice. In effect we ate what was suggested. The food was very good, especially the tarting entre which we shared and the agnolotti pasta dish. The Tiramisu was the only dessert but it was superb. The beer was cold and wine by the glass was ok too.
Alberto was unique - very funny, keen to please. He explained some options for tourist activities other than the parks which was very useful.
Unfortunately there was only one other couple in the restaurant so business was quiet on a Monday night.
At the end of the night he called us a taxi. Overall it was an enjoyable night at a fair price.
