Owner description: This wonder of nature permits the observation of one of the most unique landscapes in the World; constituted by the upper Iguazu River and the Subtropical Forest, which frame the incredible Devil's Throat balcony. Three ring-shaped balconies permit a special view of the colossal “throat”, the culmination of the journey: a giant horseshoe-shaped waterfall 150 meters / 492 feet long, and 80 meters / 262 feet high. Here the water falls with such potency that it creates dense clouds of vapor as it pours into the river below. From here you can experience such wonderful sensations, offering you amazing and unforgettable moments:- Just listening to the roar of the waterfalls - Feeling the vapor of waterfalls- Appreciating the rainbows that form amongst the clouds of water and rays of the sun - Admiring the contrasts of colors between the green forest and the blue sky, or the white color of the water foam and the red soil. - A separate spectacle is offered by the “vencejos” - birds unique to the Iguazu Falls that swoop down along the falls, as if they wanted to be confused with the curtains of water. This fabulous place is located 2080 m / 1 mile from the Devil's Station. You arrive by the Ecological Jungle Train, 5 km / 3miles from the Central Station. The Iguazu National Park Waterfalls Area has assorted activities. Along the upper and lower walkways you will be able to admire between 160 and 275 falls, the Devil's Throat being the most impressive one.

“No need for an Umbrella”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

When in Garganta Del Diablo, you do not need an Umbrella. Getting wet is definitely worth it. The walk from the train station to the falls is roughly just over a kilometre but doesn't feel that long as there is quite a sight to see. If you forgot to bring your camera, never worry as they have photographers at the falls who have a special spot that can give you a photo with the falls on the background. Around about 50 Argentinian pesos.

“Magnificent Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

The sheer beauty of the waterfalls in Iguazu is hard to describe in words. It is a sight to behold and one must visit this natural wonder once in their lifetime. The volume of water, the millions of butterflies, the spray from the falls that hangs in the air and of course the thundering sound of the falls - all add to the experience. The boat trip to right underneath the falls is also worth doing.

“Words can't describe how awe inspiring this is.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

Bring rain clothes! You'll get pretty wet from the mist surrounding the falls. The sheer volume of water cascading over the falls is crazy! There are also several viewpoints of the falls from a distance on the lower trails.

“One of the seven wonders of nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

A truly amazing and breathtaking experience. The power, size and sheer noise of Iguazu is just impressive given its beauty and energy. The falls are huge and magnificent. It is a must if you are in the northern part of Argentina.

“zen nature !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

just to gaze out the falls is a natural purification process - just do it. food inside the park was poor. tkts were overpriced too. the way they manage the park could be improved 1.000 times but third world is right there. focus on water and have a good time.
