“Great location and lots of communal areas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

The hostel is located within walking distance of the bus terminal and close to shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a dinning area, which can also be used for hanging out and talking, a TV room with couches and couches in the main lobby.

The dorm rooms have plenty of room and the beds were comfortable enough for me. There was an ensuite bathroom, with the shower functioning fine when I was there. Some people I met who were staying in other dorm rooms said that they did experience problems with water and heat. There is a pool and area around the pool as well as tables and chairs outside. The breakfast is good for the price.

I would recommend this hostel. Don't be put off that it is in the town and not next to the falls and airport. Buses leave the terminal very often and there are airport transfers to and from the airport.

The hostel is perfectly located opposite the bus terminal and nearby amenities. It is truly a hostel so the rooms are basic but then this is reflected in the price. We stayed in a private en-suite which cost about £79 for 2 nights. The room was quite dark but with the lights on it was not an issue. All bed linen and towels are provided in the private rooms which we're clean and tidy. The only downside was that the water pressure meant the shower didn't work properly and there was virtually no hot water. This didn't really bother us as everything else was really perfect. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hostel staff themselves were extremely friendly and helpful. This was probably the best aspect of this hostel. They booked us tours and gave us advice on getting to the falls etc. You may find yourself having to stand in line at the reception desk for a bit longer than you want but it's a very chilled out environment and the staff are so helpful that this really didn't bother us.

the hostel is ok. The rooms can be dark and a bit stuffy but the biggest problem was that during my stay there was NEVER any hot water left. After spending the day at the falls and getting soaked through, the last thing you want is a freezing shower

The rooms are very basic and you will need to bring your own towels with you. The pool is well kept and makes this accommodation good value. The admin here is crap so do not expect things to get done! Breakfast basic but nice enough. This hostel is located directly in front of the bus station so if you are arriving after a long bus ride then it is really convenient. Taxis run to and from the falls and it costs about 200 pesos return.

The hostel is in an ideal location 30 seconds walk from the bus stop, but set back from the road so not too noisy. There's a nice outside area, and you can buy drinks from the reception to sit around the pool with. Rooms aren't amazing but perfectly decent, hot showers worked well, wifi around the reception. Pool was being drained while I was there which was a shame but it looked nice

I payed 60 dollars per night(2nights) for a private room, which is discount price (no refund and no cancel nor change), and normal price is 90 dollars per night. It is too expensive for backpacker hostel.

It is just a Backpaker hostel, and does not have hotel service. It is for young backpackers who stay in domitory.
I recommend here for backpackers. It is nice backpacker hostel.
But Not for the people who stay for private room or older people.

No wifi in a room and you have to go to use wifi at the reception, but wifi and PC of the hostel is very slow.

Only 1- 2 receptionists and always at the reception many backpackers were waiting.A fat female receptionist with glasses is histeric and did not have any hospitality. I had reserved double room, but she gave me twin room). But some male staffs are friendly.

Bar corner and bar staff is nice, and outside table is good to chill out. The bar is good to meet with other guest.

The room is shabby. TV is broken.
Cockroaches were running in my room.
At night it was cold but there was no blanket, so I asked blanket, but they told that they did not have it.

It is in front of bus terminal, and close to Brazillian consult.
But from bus terminal it takes 30 minutes to the waterfall and bus cost a lot. In the reviews there are plenty of restaurants and shops around there, but not that many. I thought it would be better to stay at hotel near the waterfall, rather than 1 hour trip to the waterfall everyday.

This hostel is good for the backpackers who travel by bus.
But not for the others.
