“GREAT experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2012

had an amazing experience here. very clean, big rooms, awesome wraparound balcony, the water pressure in the showers was insane and, most importantly, the staff was extremely helpful, fun, and welcoming. The receptionist Dani was especially great, so ask for her if you need anything, and she will definitely help you out. One of the few hostels i´ve stayed at where i really felt at home and did not want to leave.

Room Tip: ask for a room upstairs, they are quieter.

Above all to highlight the care, kindness and shared links in the hostel with all the people who were staying the days we live in it, were very valuable experiences experienced, and that's fundamental. In addition, the site location is in central location allows to be only steps away from any nearby city. Link Cordoba Hostel is an excellent alternative to travel days on Cordoba, will feel right at home, as the outstanding warmth and good vibes that show managers can spend a wonderful and unforgettable stay in the beautiful province of Cordoba.

Only stayed 1 night on a stop over from Mendoza to Buenos Aires. Good location and a varied breakfast. Excellent matresess and generally very clean. You can tell this is a new establishment. It has been finished to a high quality. Nice suntrap of a terrace. Although I couldn´t get the patio door to lock, could have been opened by anyone at anytime. Also, not possible to lock the dorm despite the fact I was the only one there!
It was very quiet when I was there and therefore, did not have much atmosphere.
Staff were friendly enough, just don´t leave your dishes dirty! It will anger the little woman who works on the reception.
Major problem is the shower. Great shower but the curtain is 8inches above the shower tray so there is no way to have a shower without flooding the entire bathroom. Spent longer trying to clean up after than I actually did in the shower - ridiculous!

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were always around to answer any questions about booking adventure activities (caving, skydiving, rock climbing, etc.). As well they made us feel like we were part of their family by offering to cook us Asado (BBQ) on multiple evenings as a small event (which was the best tasting meat I have ever eaten),

The rooms are very clean with new flooring and comfortable beds. The lockers don´t fit a full large backpack (I had to bend my 35 litre bag to make it fit), but the safety of the hostel is so good (video cameras in all of the hall ways) that I barely used the lockers in the rooms anyways. The bathrooms are very big with all new flooring, sinks and showers with hot water and good water pressure all of the time. There is a beautiful deck as well as a nice courtyard with a laying down hammock and a sitting hammock as well as a table and a good place to hang out and relax!

The wifi was usually really fast, but only worked on my ipod in the main area closest to reception, or on the deck directly above reception (it worked well for people with computers everywhere in the hostel though)

Room Tip: There are three rooms that are directly above reception and the kitchen which have exclusive access...

Link Cordoba Hostel was a wonderful hosteling and Argentinian experience that should be witnessed by all. A very clean hostel with everything a good hostel requires, great beds, hot showers and great friendly staff. The staff go above and beyond to open you up to what argentina has to offer. Asado nights are a regular occurance, and if you haven´t had a Asado yet in your travels you´ve been missing out on something special, an experience that shatters words when you try to expain the taste of what you are eating. Not only is the food amazing, the tours they offer through link hostel will bring you deeper into the culture you have yet to even sample. Working with locals, the tour company (IJ travels) will open your eyes to the landscape and the people surrounding Cordoba. Just take a look at the staffs pictures and see the excitement in there eyes as they talk about the tours they´ve experienced. Go to this home away from home.
