We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Ana and Ralph on 1st April, together with another 5 visitors. All the previous reviews say it all - that's why we chose this trip, above all others. We took the option of being picked up from our hotel - their friend, Gaston arrived on time, and although he doesn't speak English, is a very nice person. We caught the river ferry - a little tricky buying a ticket when we don't speak Spanish! Hint: ask Ana for her address, and write it down - they are well known in the delta, and go to Window 4 at the station. On arrival, we immediately felt at home, and the rest of the day, as other writers say, was perfect. So relaxing, wonderful company, superb lunch cooked by Ralph with no fuss at all. Ana's knowledge of the delta is amazing. No rush to do anything, and we were quite late leaving that afternoon. Ana arranged a river taxi - much faster than the ferry, and notified Gaston that we would arrive a little later. He was cheerily waiting at the ferry station when we arrived. Ana even gave us blankets to keep us warm on the return trip on the river. Friends did a tour on the river ferry, and while it was interesting, they definitely didn't have the heartwarming experience that we did. Thank you both for an unforgettable day.

We were recommended this trip by family who had taken it the year previous. Reading the great comments of others about Delta Unplugged I can only say it's all true! From the first warm and friendly contact with Ana to the final wave off from their dock, we felt we were being looked after like valued friends visiting their home and being taken on their boat to explore in the Parana Delta. Perfect directions for getting to 'lo del Suizo', a welcoming breakfast (best bread we had in Argentina, Ralph!), learning about their Delta Unplugged venture, the boat trip with guide/photographer (Ana) and delicious meal, cooked by Ralph on board made for an unforgettable experience in and of Buenos Aires. Not to forget meeting Octavio! Ralph and Ana's 'rememberable' little boy. Michael and Deirdre from Dublin

I booked this trip off the back of glowing TripAdvisor reviews and it was as good as - probably even better than - expected. Ana was great at keeping in touch in advance of the trip and helped to arrange a car to and from our hotel in BsAs.
The water taxi ride to their home was a great experience and helped us to get a sense of what living on the islands was like. We were welcomed by Ana, Ralph and cute little Octavia, had breakfast and got to know our fellow guests before setting off on the boat.
The delta is beautiful and navigating through the waterways, looking out for flora and fauna, was so relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the city.
Ralph is an fantastic chef and we were amazed by what he was able to rustle up on a small BBQ for 10 hungry people in no time at all.
After a fantastic day of sailing, it was back to their house for home made ice cream and the traditional sharing of mate. Highly recommended for a great day out.

Ana and Ralph are gracious hosts who love their home and passionate about presenting the history and beauty of the Delta to visitors. My partner and I were blown away by their hospitality and enthusiasm. We wholeheartedly recommend Delta Unplugged to those who would like to experience the Tigre Delta.

From start to end this trip was an amazing experience. I took my parents and brother (who has autism) for their first visit to Tigre whilst on their week long visit to Buenos Aires. Before the trip Ana was so helpful with her email correspondence and instructions, and even sent a taxi to collect us from down town so that we didn't have to take the train. The trip to their house on the public boat was great and as soon as we arrived at Ana and Ralph's home we were treated like part of the extended family. Ana has incredible knowledge of the Delta and history of the local area. She was an amazing guide and both her and Ralph were really friendly. We had a great home made breakfast before being take on their boat for a day long tour of the Delta. We were in a group of 8 (10 including Ralph and Ana) and it was a good number as it meant we were able to meet new people, but also have our own space to appreciate the river. The boat ride was so relaxing and we were lucky enough to see a lot of wildlife including turtles. We were never short of drinks (great wine) and the food that Ralph prepared was the best I have eaten after 3 years living in Buenos Aires! The price may seem up there but it is well worth it and probably undervalued. The whole day was great company, relaxing, amazing food and topped off with home made ice cream, cake and a mate tasting back at Ralph and Ana's home. We even saw hummingbirds. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting BA or even if you live here and want an escape from the city. Thank you Ana and Ralph!!!
