“Was worth the wait, very good typical Mar del Plata fare, ultra quick and corteous service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2011

We went after a basket game with 6 friends. being a large table and no reservations we waited for close to 1 hour (not lots of alternatives nearby!). The menu was great, with many different alternatives in fish, pasta, meat, seafood, salads, etc. very good wine list. They brought the food very fast and it was excellent, great pastas, salmon and seafood. good typical Mar del Plata fare, fish with Roquefort sauce, Duquesa mashed potatoes, "cornalitos", "rabas", etc... dessert menu could be better..

“I was quite excited to try this...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2010 via mobile

I was quite excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. We were even more pleased to learn that our waitress spoke very good English (we, being from Canada.) we were seated in a booth right beside the door even though all of the other customers were seated on the opposite side of the restaurant. We thought nothing of it as we were handed both an English and a Spanish menu. How lovely for a place that doesn't speak much English, we thought. We ordered seafood appetizers that were quite good but ended up with pasta entrees that were mediocre at best. The worst part was the fact that staff and guests were in and out of the restaurant constantly and since we were so close to the door, would catch a chill from the rainy weather and smell nothing but cigarette smoke coming from guests outside. The many fruit flies that we constantly had to shoo away didn't help the atmosphere either. Perhaps if we were seated in a different spot or ordered an alternate dish, this place wouldve been great. However, we didn't finish either of our mains, or our second bottle of wine, (which is extremely uncharacteristic) or wait for a dessert menu.
