Our first dinner in Argentina and we actually decided to go for Italian food. We had a long night and day of travelling and sightseeing and wanted to stay local so upon the recommendation of our concierge, we walked over to the Piegari just a block away from the hotel. We were not disappointed. We ordered two pastas, a penne with gorgonzola sauce and a spinach ravioli with tomato cream sauce. Portions were huge and both were quite filling. A perfect bottle of Argentinian Malbec rounded out the meal. I had read that Italian food in Argentina was exceptional and that was proving to be the case!
