Clean, comfortable, quiet and… pretty. Very well located. Team of gentile and extremely considerate employees. The room is a little small, but sufficiently functional and cozy. The breakfast is excellent. Without a doubt I would come back to the 725 in a future trip.

We arrived in Buenos Aires the week leading up to Easter, unfortunately all our hotel choices were booked. We finally booked in 725 Hotel in the heart of the city. The hotel is just another big American Style hotel, which some people may prefer? It's clean, people are professional and breakfast is good. However if you're like me and prefer a more personal experience, then book into a Boutique Hotel. I stayed in better valued hotels in/near the city eg: Moreno Hotel in San Telmo, or Vista Sol Hotel (ask for the Balcony)

Three short stays within a 6 week period and generally satisfied with all aspects of hotel. Great location, walking distance to all the main sights of the centre, including the restaurants of Puerto Madero, and a stone's throw from a couple of subway stations.

Service seemed to oscillate from excellent... prompt and with abundant enthusiasm to slightly unexpected for a hotel of this quality - eg observing a trivial altercation between a waiter in the hotel restaurant and guest who was not allowed to take a drink to his room. Talking of glasses, while the free mini-bar is a welcome departure from the norm, the glasses requested from room service (only one small bathroom glass supplied as standard) mysteriously disappeared every day, and had to be re-requested (as was the bath plug!). Not exactly the end of the world, but at 'boutique' level, one might expect the application of intelligence and common sense to guests' requirements.

Breakfast excellent, beds most comfortable and rooms generally hitting boutique mark, although professional boutiquers might sense that imagination was eventually running thin after doing up 100 rooms or so, and having stayed in 3 different rooms, felt some were more attractive than others... try requesting a second viewing if unhappy with first.

All in all, happy!

Although the hotel states a five star status for those of you who have stayed at a five start hotel you will definitely realize that 725 is not a five star hotel. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad hotel maybe a bit above average at best. The rooms and bathroom were okay, there are no drawers for you to place your clothing in, just a tiny closet to hang things. The room was not that clean, I noticed stains on the wall behind the curtain and there were hairs and dust on the floors. The pool area is tiny, there are around 10 chairs so if you don't get there early you're not laying out. The hotel is located in the middle of the business center so M-F it's packed with locals going to work and there are also a number of demonstrations going on. If you want to stay in the middle of the city then 725 is not too bad of a choice, if you want to stay in Recoleta I definitely recomment the Hyatt or Four Seasons, these were absolutely stunning hotels and I regret not staying there and paying the extra money.
