We are a french couple who have to travel for work very often. This time the destination was South America. More specifically, Buenos Aires. I heard a little of the country but for the length of time we stayed I think it was enough to fall in love with this beautiful and European city. Through search on the internet we have found the Urban Suites hotel that its appearance was deceived by much. The lobby is very small… but once we were inside we couldn´t believe the luxurious rooms they have. Has nothing to envy to a 5 stars hotel. I have been told that is a new brand hotel, we have been very lucky to stay at this hotel.
The attention is very friendly, personal, something that pleases us greatly to Sully and me. Something they can do because the few rooms they have. I think are about 30 or 40 rooms.
The hotel´s bar where they served breakfast was very cool and cozy. The breakfast was perfect because was very complete and with a wide rage of food: milk, fruits, juices, coffee, pastries, bread and cereals. The only bad thing is the room service: I ordered a sandwich toasted and took them about 30 minutes to bring it to my room. When arrive it I was no longer hungry. Another thing is that the room service is until 1 am. I had to leave the hotel to eat, being very tired after working all day because the bar closed early. The good news is that the hotel is so well located, so anything you need is reachable. I remember that took us only 10 steps to be surrounded by restaurants and pubs. The location is ideal: just a few meters away you have Recoleta´s cemetery entrance where you can do a tour and see the Evita crypt.
Because the room category we wished was unavailable for the high demand, they gave us an upgrade and we went to a superior room with a front view. You can not imagine how the view we had ahead of us was! The most spectacular of the world: the river on the horizon completing the landscape with the vaults of the cemetery.
To be honest we have been fascinated with the hotel location and nightlife. People would not stop walking until late, the music in the pubs and the contagious joy of everyone was so transmittable to the point where made us have a hard time to leave this city.
The hotel staff is made up of very young people, which was very successful because when we need some recommendations they knew which places are the coolest one. Despite we stayed for work in Buenos Aires, the environment invited us to relax and enjoy the long journey.
Our expectations were fulfilled at the Urban Suites in Recoleta. Is a small property but well-used spaces.
