I just returned back to Dallas from BA and Santiago. The highlight of the trip was staying at Mine Hotel. It was very difficult from just internet sites to tell what was what for hotels in BA. But this place was simply amazing. Staff were extremely friendly. Everyone trained and spoke perfect english. The hotel itself is designed wonderfully if you like modern design. For the price, you cannot go wrong here. We looked at a number of hotel 3-4X the price once we got to BA, and frankly we would be much happier at Mine regardless of cost. Also, if you like shopping, restaurants, or seeing people - it's Palermo Soho location is the place to be.

I have been in Buenos Aires twice before this trip, staying in downtown and Recoleta's hotels. Since in this tirp I had more time to fun, and I decided to stay in this"chic" area called Palermo Soho. Don' t hesitate, this is the place to stay in this city!!.
The hotel is new but the staff seems to be very well trainde to always help any kind of advices, (in La Cabrera i ate the best meat of my life) and always with a smile.!!
There is a nice relaxing area including a garden where a I drank very good argentines wines and smokie(only place to do it since there are no smoking rooms)
Also my room, althoug on the smaller side was very confortable, clean and with a wonderful decor.
A couple of nice touches, there are free DVD movies to watch in the room and they put the next day forecast on your bed at night.

Mine Hotel treats every customer like a celebrity. I was just there and cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff there. Angela, the manager, was very sweet and helpful. My situation became a little complicated due to the vagaries of Aerolineas (terrible airline do not use them if possible) and the staff at Mine were fabulous about getting me another room when I had to cancel my trip to Iguacu Falls. Staff during the day and night were equally helpful in giving maps and directions on where to go and how to get there. Unfortunately, I am terrible with names, but Carla (in the restaurant) and Claudio are the two names that I am able to remember. It is difficult to put into words how extremely helpful the staff at this hotel were to all of the guests. The hotel is in a pretty good location. Buenos Aires is a big city, there is construction going on, sometimes starting early in the morning. If you get a room facing the street, and you are a light sleeper, you may want to consider bringing some earplugs so that traffic noise won't bother you. Most people will get used to it, but if you think it will bother you, then you can ask them to move you and I think they would do it if it were possible.

I was in BA for a conference. Everyday when I went down for breakfast, the choices were quite good. They will make eggs, omelets pretty standard breakfast fare. Coffee, juice, diet coke, etc. If you stay there, you will be welcomed every day and every evening whenever you come in. I have absolutely no complaints!

I would not consider staying anywhere else in BA.

I have just recently returned from a fantastic week in the amazing city of Buenos Aires. I stayed in a new boutique hotel called Mine Hotel.
This charming hotel made feel at home. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, BUT my favorite part was the restaurant because of Roma the owner of the place. Roma was extremely friendly and helpful with information about Buenos Aires. Not only can you eat divine in this restaurant but you have Roma as a unique resource for everything you made need in Buenos Aires.
