We really enjoyed our stay here, during the last week of August. The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and resourceful. Breakfast was great, and included eggs, potatoes, and bacon, for our American sensibilities. Our superior room was clean and spacious, and the turn-down service each night, made us feel as though we had entered our room for the first time. The décor of the hotel is modern and contemporary, incorporating wood, glass, stone, and water elements, with splashes of color. There is a computer available for guests, which was really helpful.
Problems for us were our room (overlooking the street) needed sound-proof windows to block out street noise. Also, the water temperature was tepid, and never hot enough for our taste. We were also surprised and frustrated that no English news channels were provided, particularly during the DNC.
The hotel sits among many shops and restaurants, but it's at least a 20-minute walk, in either direction, to the two subway lines in Palerrmo. Seems as though most people catch taxis to get around Buenos Aires, but the subway is our preferred mode of transportation.
We would definitely stay here again, but request a room in a different position.
