It is a cozy Italian restaurant. The menu is simple but good. There are several classic Italian antipastos such as cold meat dishes, cheese, and roast vegetables, as well as the Cima a la Genovese (which we tried) and fried olives (looks yummy). Cima a la Genovese is a classic Ligurian dish of veal breast stuffed with a variety of vegetables (like a sausage), then sliced, and served at room temperature with olive oil to drizzle over. It is good but not great. I will give it 7.5 out 10 points.
Then it comes the entry. There are a lot of varieties of fresh hand-made pasta, and some grills too. We found almost everybody went with pastas such as Ravioli, Tortelloni, Lasagne..... Since we want to try sth. different, we chose Tortelloni. There are two kinds, Tortelli Bianchi and tortelli verde.
Tortelli Bianchi is pasta ring filled with vegetables and topped with a light brown butter and olive oil sauce, accompany by whole roasted garlic cloves. They made in such a way that the rings have very thin skin and are plumped with the fresh vegetables. And the olive oil enrich the flavor with the roast garlic. I would give 8.5 for this one!
Next come the star of the dish! Tortelli verde is made with a spinach pasta, filled with roasted garlic and cheese , then topped with this creamy white sauce. The amazing thing is that the toping has been broiled to golden brown. So when you taste it, you bite into the crunch skin, then the hot cheese stuffing melt in your mouth, leaving the delightful favor. 9 points!
We did not have room for desert. I saw some people order some puff with cream. The only drawback is the restaurant people don't understand English at all. So be prepared to have the dish in your mind if you don't speak Spanish!
