We stayed here for 4 nights. The guesthouse is in great location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff (notably Paz) are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. It's not a five star hotel, and it isn't meant to be, but it's great value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Oh, Uruguay 911, how I've missed you. Simply put, the guest house is just lovely. The rooms are huge, the common area is leather-sofa-ed and inviting (unlike so many shared spaces we travelers oft encounter), the bathrooms are cleaned constantly. And Paz, who runs the place, is smart, cool and fun in addition to being a responsible and informative host. Hard to beat the location or the cost. Photo doesn't do the place justice, by the way, it's surprisingly nice.

We came to the Guest House not ever having been in Buenos Aires and we left feeling like it was home and wanting to stay for a long time! The rooms were comfortable, cleaned daily and breakfast with fresh squeezed juice every morning. Paz is THE BEST! She took GREAT care of us weary travelers. Laid back, great music and beautiful art covering the walls in the middle of the city. We can't wait to go back!

Yira Yira is indeed a gem among gems. It is all that is advertised and more. The rooms are large and spacious and have access to a private balcony or the patio in addition to the great central living areas with an “at home” friendly atmosphere. Location is awesome, close “walking distance” to all of the neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, central to the theatre, tango, and major shopping areas. Minutes to the train, bus, subway and ferry systems. Safe, secure, clean and totally convenient with Wi-Fi as a bonus. Restaurants, laundry, grocery stores, etc. 1-2 blocks in any direction. Superb breakfast -- real fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade jam! Definitely make this your destination accommodation and use Yira Yira as your home base for day or overnight side trips. In-residence owner/manager is tops – goes the extra mile to make your visit the best. Yira Yira is a new found secret that will highlight your trip to Buenos Aires. Simply phenomenal.
