4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2011

Place very nicely in Palermo if you want to walk around that area. Staff is extreemly helpful, and at arrival the place looks cosy with nice atmosphere.
Room was nice with balcony and a jacuzzi with glas like roof, but it is quite cold during winter, which was the time I visited.
Missing explanation for the heating and it is not at all private when the door of the room gaps at the floor, and light and sound can go both ways.
Bed was really good.

This hotel was below the standard of other boutique hotels. The first room we were offered was small and did not have a window. We had to pay extra for another room and this was not much better. Decor is fairly simple. Staff are friendly and breakfast is lovely.

We were scheduled to leave BA early during the ash cloud debacle. Liliana on the front desk patiently and intelligently arranged our travel options over a period of an hour on the phone (in Spanish) and got us out of BA afer cancelled Airlineas flights trapped us in BA. Fantastic help. Other staff equally obliging, incl Jorge. Great breakfast, some rooms small. We stayed in 203 then 208 (2 visits), 203 poor for a "junior suite" - no external windows, 208 roomy and good. Safe location

Room Tip: Ask for room with window to atrium or exterior.

This hotel is good and in a good location. Lovely clean rooms, and good communal spaces. We had a couple of issues - the room wasn't cleaned (apparently this isn't possible after 4pm, with no attempt of it being done prior), and the staff didn't really appear to want to be there. Also the restaurant doubles as the management office. I would stay again - they just need to tighten up the service.

Well located, very charming and intimate.
We had a great experience overall, very recommendable.
Its breakfast (included in total) was memorable! Delicious freshly made bread, variety of dulce de leches, fruits, jams, etc, fresh juice, great capuccinos.
Friendly service.
Hopefully we`ll be able to go back.
Have suggested it to friends and family.

This is very simple: the location is about as good as you can get in all of Buenos Aires, the staff is very helpful, and cafe/bar is simple but very good, but the rooms are poor. We generally have a very high bar for hotels and we still really liked this hotel despite the poor rooms because everything else, especially the location and staff, is so great. That said, if you want plush rooms with great views stay elsewhere. The rooms are very very simple and very very small. Some or the rooms essentially don't have windows (a glass panel above the door which allows a touch of light to come in), our bathroom was comically small, and our closets literally had sheets substituting for doors because the room was too small to fit real closet doors.

It is important to emphasize however, that despite the small rooms, the hotel is very solid and we really recommend it for all the reasons that are important about BA: location, food and drink, people. If you spend more than a few minutes a day in your hotel room when in Buenos Aires you probably have more to worry about than where you are staying.
